Share/Get Meal Ideas

One of my biggest dilemma's is what to fix for dinner. I either don't have anything planned, or thawed out, or I am just stuck in a rut; this year I plan to change that. Once a week I will post 5 main dishes recipes. I will try one new recipe a week in hopes of expanding the kid-friendly meals my kids will eat and decrease the number of nights I cook a meal for the kids and a different one for the adults. I hope in return that you will also share some of your favorite meals too.

I am a stay at home mom of two elementary age children and frequently don't know what to feed my family of four. My children are somewhat "picky" and I am always looking for new ideas for dinner, and get tired of the same old things. I try to be health conscious and do not care for artificial sweeteners or over use of pesticides, and I buy organic or locally grown foods when possible. I love to bake and enjoy cooking for those I love.

Week 17, 2010

Another week, seems time is going so quickly, the kids will be out of school soon. YIKES! Seriously I am somewhat looking forward to the summer and break from school myself. This week is busy so I am going very easy with just one new experiment for the week, which will be the pineapple chicken stir fry. Also planning cheeseburger mac, chicken piccata, and salmon cakes. I'm also in the mood for grilled pork chops but will baste with regular ole barbecue sauce so there is no recipe for that one. Hope you have a great week!
